Moving is weird. Y’all. Can I say y’all again now that i’m in a southern state again? Anyway. . . It’s been a weird assed transition

to undersell and completely downplay it.

My happy place has been fixing up our living spaces one room at a time.

I’m learning to be an “influencer” I’m only half joking. All of those years in retail, restaurants, and moving so much have made me

really good at curation, styling, and interiors. If you like that stuff check out my companion blog http://www.typeaish.com

Since this is our travel focused one, here’s a post on our travel faves from Amazon (More to come)We have many!

In the meantime, here are some pictures of some spaces in the Georgia Colonial style home we live in.

Here’s our French Country inspired breakfast table in our lovely bay window in our kitchen. Next up will be putting out a bird

feeder and maybe a bird bath? My Grandma Madeline was bird obsessed so I do a feeder in honor of her memory at every home.

She was fierce and kind. I aspire to always be both. She lived to be 102! I’m just some birdseed from Amazon away from hanging

up the feeder. Our HOA gave us a cute little wooden bird feeder as a welcome gift. I plan to take advantage. I think we’ll do

Roman Shades here eventually, but for now the tree cover is enough. Click the pic to read more. . .

French Country Themed Table

Peachy Clean Themed Bathroom

This little guest room is where I got to play a bit. It had a lot of dark and neutral colors so I chose to do a fun and whimsical theme

and add in this peachy coral accent color. It smells so lovely too. Click on the pic if you want to read more. . .

Dressing Room
(Walk in Closet with the coolest nook)

I still need to give this room a whole blog post on my other site (typeaish.com). I am loving how soothing and girly it is.

This teeny corner has gotten a ton of love because it’s one of my hang outs and personal respites in the house. It’s basically a

getting ready and lounging space. I’m so happy that we added a Chaise lounge aka a fainting couch to this space because it’s

created a spot for my dog and husband to hang out with me if we want to chat. It has helped Sherlock’s anxiety too being able to be

at almost eye level with me AND look out the window. I also added a full length mirror and jewelry organizer recently which has

made getting ready a lot easier! 4 months in and I’m FINALLY getting around to unpacking my ‘frosting’ like novelty earrings,

now that they have a home.

I need to share more rooms! My office is close, as is the basement apartment. I can’t wait to show the rest.

What’s your favorite space so far?
